The aim of the Ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst ... project (I see something you don’t see…) is to approach modern art from different angles. Senior citizens and children went round exhibitions together in small groups and showed each other what they found interesting and exciting. With the help of various tools including frame, tape measure, masking tape, they selected and fixed their views and angles. Digital photography was used to encourage the visitors to talk about personal perceptions and their artistic realization.

An important aspect was the focus on a specific photograph as the result. The small groups worked together on choosing titles for their photographs. At the end, the pictures were viewed via a beamer, with the children and senior citizens giving additional information about titles and intentions.
