Heimo Zobernig

Herbert Fuchs makes art figures out of his artist friends Geiger, Zobernig and Kippenberger. In his text montages of facts and fictions, his figures assume enigmatic and ultimately unfathomable forms, a result of memories of days and nights spent together, of further associations and fantastical outlets. Yet Kippenberger gains a hyper-real, highly detailed presence, based on the stories that Fuchs tells about him, which are bound to confuse and interest the reader. "Kippenberger’s sixth sense is the invisible exactness with which he feeds his eyes."
