Dieter Buchhart, a participation-oriented practitioner in the socio-cultural realm, does field work. In his latest book, No Mercy!, he presents his projects that revolve around the central motif of nettles. He encourages active use of the book by providing a flip book and designing part of the book for reader to put together him/herself. His nettles-based principle processes the instability and absurdity of both scientific and social orders. With an anarchy and obsession for systems, Dieter Buchhart intervenes in scientific-technical constructions with this artist's manual, turning the rules of dealing with social “disruptive factors” upside down.
